Well, I have been posting photos of some bands that performed at FLUFF FEST but I have not posted yet a proper words and photos of what this festival is for me.
FLUFF FEST in my opinion is one of those few festival that you can go and feel ok with the enviroment, not many idiots around, the attitude is more punk than other well-known hc and punk festivals. I know that there are people who say that nowadays FLUFF FEST is not anymore like before, well, I can understand them in someway, but at least it is one of those few festival where you can hang out, eat vegan food, and mainly it keeps a DIY attitude. No need to get sponsors, big companies and their shitty stuff objectifing women for selling it, or whatever that some corporates use do at festivals.
This year I could see more families, and for me as a mother, I found it so cool. I met a family from Hong Kong, mom is chinese - dad is from Czech Republic and the little Sofia is just 17 months old and she has attended a hc-punk festival! That is so cool!
I met several friends from around the world, and I had a good time with my old friends from Spain, that’s another reason why I like to go to FLUFF FEST.
Though not many bands of the bill were my thing at all, I enjoyed the few wants that I wanted to see, and “discovered” about some bands that caught my attention. The best band in my opinion was MINORITY OF ONE, such an awesome set they had, full of energy and posi vibes, I had goose bumps nearly the whole set! Peoplle hitting the pit, singingalong and stagediving all the time (incluiding me, one time, because I could not resist being stand still, so left my camera aside for couple minutes).
Well, let’s wait til next year and see what happens.
